Action Step: Committee will document need for and interest in new class; document critique criteria used by other organizations; document other groups’ criteria for appointing judges; develop examples of judging forms.
•Goal 2. Update and maintain the Writing SIG’s Web page.
Action Step: Review Web page for expired dates, incomplete projects, etc.; invite “Grammar Hint” supporters to reinvigorate the grammar submissions; seek additional Web ideas from membership.
•Goal 3. Organize writing sessions for the 2007 annual meeting.
Action Step: Encourage SIG members to conduct or organize writing-related sessions; work with Diversity SIG leaders to develop one or more workshops.
•Goal 4. Fulfill annual SIG responsibilities.
Action Step:
Review C&A categories.
Review/revise evaluation forms.
Recruit judges for C&A and ensure that they understand the rules.
Nominate ACE colleague for SIG’s Award of ExcelSIGlence.
Report SIG’s activities to the ACE Board.
