Recommended by Diane Bowen. Target audience--Geared to high-tech communications writers and editors but also of use to general Internet users. Comments: Although its irreverent style can sometimes be off-putting, this book does a fine job of defining and explaining computer acronyms, buzzwords and technical jargon, and it offers Wired magazine's rationales for its spelling and language usage (e-mail hyphenated or not?). I especially like the pronunciation help.
