1. Move in closer.

2. Pay attention to the background.

3. Use a tripod for extreme close up work, low light.

4. Use light to your advantage for highlight, contrast.

5. Move around and get different angles.

6. Shoot more, delete later.

7. Avoid mid-day shooting.

8. Bring plenty of batteries and storage disks.

9. Take your subject to a different locale.
