ACE members are encouraged to become involved in leadership roles and to have a
voice in organizational decisions.
If you'd like to become an officer in a special interest group (SIG), contact the SIG's current chair and ask that your
name be placed on the ballot during SIG officer elections. For a listing of current SIG leaders, visit the SIG Leaders section
of this site.
If you're interested in being part of a committee, contact the committee chair of the committee on which you
wish to serve. For a listing of current committee members, visit the Committees section of this site.
If you're interested in running for a position on the board of directors, contact the ACE Coordinator and she will put
you in touch with those seeking candidates for the next election.
If you'd like to be a state representative, contact your regional director. For a list of current regional directors and state
representatives, visit the State Representatives section of this site. If your state already has a representative, we encourage
you to contact the regional director about a state representative position anyway. Some states are open to having more than one representative,
while others might have a vacancy coming up in the foreseeable future.
