Preliminary Note: The title of the official journal of the Association for Communication Excellence was changed from the ACE Quarterly to the Journal of Applied Communications commencing with volume 74, no. 1, 1990, as published at the Ohio State University by Editor, Curtis E. Paulson, and Managing Editor, Donald E. Collins, Washington, D.C., with issues to be published "not quarterly, but rather on the basis of the number of manuscripts submitted."
Volume 77 (1993) and subsequent volumes of this title have been published at the University of Florida under the respective Editorships of JoAnn Bell Pierce, Ashley Wood, Joyce Dolbier, and currently the editorial team of Ron Thomas, Carol Church, Tracy Zwillinger and Managing Editor, Amanda Chambliss.
