It's exciting to see a discussion board exclusively for ACE.

I'll start by introducing myself. I'm UMaine Extension’s graphic designer/webmaster and Maine's ACE State Rep. I’ve been an ACE member for about 10 years. The first annual meeting I attended was in 1998 at the Asilomar Conference Center in California. What a beautiful place! I've been fortunate enough to attend meetings in Knoxville (anyone remember the midnight fire drill?), College Station, and Quebec City, too. I have high hopes I'll be going to Albuquerque in '07.

I don't know about you, but I think discussion boards are a great, informal way to communicate. I find them easy to use and like the way multiple threads/forums help me sort through topics I'm interested in. Unlike my unorganized e-mail account. I hope lots of folks jump in and make this a lively place.

A big thank you to the folks who helped make this discussion board possible!
